Job Description
Responsibilities for this role include performing the following duties:
* Ensures that the company's products meet total quality management standards and other reliability standards with emphasis on data integrity
* Researches and implements new or improved testing methods, processes, tools, and systems
* Performs quality control (QC) tasks requiring planning, scheduling, and testing to ensure that developed or third party products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards
* Works with direct development and operations to plan, coordinate, and execute QC programs designed to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products and to ensure continuous production/service consistent with established standards
* Develops and executes automation testing strategy and processes with special emphasis on data integrity within a data warehouse environment
* Drives and manages the defect process, to ensure efficient testing and defect correction processes are performed
* Ensure appropriate products requirements and test conditions are entered into the QA testing software
* Helps to define and maintain common automation libraries, conventions, best practices, etc.
* Independently designs, codes, and validates the test case automation without compromise on quality and schedule including the development and maintenance of automated testing framework that is highly scripted and can be executed largely unattended
* Runs in depth testing, diagnoses problems, recommends solutions, and determines if program requirements have been met including execution full and final release of the product and performance testing
* Demonstrates excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; problem solving
* Participates in design reviews to help guide and implement best automation approaches forecast / estimate the project future requirements
* Escalates the high risk or unresolved issues to next level

The qualified candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and have at least five to seven years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate must have working experience with automated testing tools to include Microsoft Team Foundation Server and QA testing using team foundation server; HP-Mercury testing is a plus. Direct healthcare experience is preferred. Familiarity with agile lifecycle methodology is a plus.
